GHA Women's Clubs Tournament

This year's event took place on 8th September, a beautiful autumn day. We were delighted to have Angie Atherton with us to present the trophy to the Lansdown captain at the end of the morning session. The morning session saw competition between Badgers, Blockey and Lansdown. Blockley and Lansdown tied on points. The teams had to be separated on goal difference with Lansdown triumphant. In the afternoon Lansdown, Painswick and Puffins competed for the shield, Lansdown again emerging the winners. Thanks are due to Jean for sorting out the trophies, umpiring, operating the hooter in the morning and providing the organiser with lunch, Mike for umpiring and Angie for presenting the morning trophy and operating the afternoon hooter.
