Welcome to the new web site of the Gloucestershire Hockey Association (GHA). Initially this site is little more than a framework but we will populate the content as quickly as we can. Our priority is the calendar and also letting you know if events are threatened by the weather (via the calendar and also news items on the home page).
This very successful tournament featured thirteen teams from schools around the county.
England Hockey have undertaken a consultation on how the sport should be structured.
We are gearing up for the In2Hockey school and club competitions. The competition regulations are now available.
Congratulations to KLB as county champions and Wycliffe as runners up after a close final which resulted in a penalty flick decider. Best wishes go to both schools for the West Prelim Finals which will be held week commencing 5th November.

The above competition took place at Cheltenham College on 26th September 2019. KLB school emerged as winners with Wycliffe in second place. Both these teams progress to the West finals.
Ian Harvey, president of Gloucestershire Hockey Association, presented the winner's trophy to the captain of KLB school.

Gloucestershire Hockey Association will again be running the Women’s Clubs Tournament on Sunday 8th September 2019. We have the use of both pitches at Dean Close School, Cheltenham for the day. We are inviting entries from all clubs affiliated to Gloucestershire HA. Our aim is to provide lots of friendly but competitive hockey of an appropriate standard for all participants. We envisage that the morning section will start at 10am going through till 12:30pm/1:00pm with the afternoon section starting at 2:00pm going through till 4.30pm/5:00pm.
