GHA U12 Girls and Boys Festivals Sunday 22nd January - CANCELLED

The GHA U12 girls and boys Festivals for tomorrow Sunday 22nd January are cancelled.

This has been a very difficult decision and if this were adults I would have left it until tomorrow, but with parents needing to plan their day I feel I have to take the decision now.

I have canvassed opinions from a number in Cheltenham and who know the pitches well. The feeling is that whilst some bits might be playable much will still be frozen. The weather forecast is also very uncertain as to what we might expect tomorrow morning, maybe cloudy, freezing fog, sunny?

As a result I have erred on the side of caution and therefore am cancelling.

I am really sorry about this and I know I will be disappointing a lot of people and there will be those that will feel I am being too cautious. However, I equally have to recognise we are dealing with children and their families which means an early decision is the right thing to do.
